As you might already saw...you can't nominate a video to a certain category! We decide in which category your video fits in...
But just to inform you...in case none of the submitted videos fits in a certain category there won't be an award given away... And that was such a lie! What can we say to excuse this? That we were naïve and thought, we could handle our own rules? We give awards to whatever we think deserves one, only limit here are 15 Awards per round, but we like to stay under that deadline. Usually this are our categories, these awards you can expect…

The categories are:

best video
This video will be the one we all liked the best...doesn't matter in which other category it fits in...

best tear-jerker
Here we're really searching for a video that touches you deep inside, makes you fight the tears back while watching it...

best conventional shipper
This will include the pairings as they appear in Buffy or Angel... and mostly we hand out here two awards, because of all the possibilities.

best unconventional shipper
This category wants you to be creative...slash?? Real strange pairings we'd never think of?? Surprise us...and you'll get this one

best humor
Since we all LOVE humour mv we had to create such a category...c'mon don't disappoint us

best action
We wanna see real fighting for winning this category...

best POV
Videos that are based on a certain character (but no shipper videos)...can be a character study or something like that... Here we give normally three awards away, because the past showed us, that there always plenty different in the contest.

best SFX
Cool transitions, stunning transparencies, nice motion...the winner has it all

best use of a song
The winner video got scenes matching perfectly to the lyrics of the song or the rhythm of the tune...

best slash
Well...you know what we mean... All wackiness insure.

best AU
An alternative universe that show us things, we’d never expected to see in a video considering our shows.

best un/conventional
Three ways to get this award, mixing every possible pairing together, mixing two pairings together, one conventional and the other not and draw the parallels or drawn the line so thin in a familiar ship that we can decide, if it’s still conventional or not.

best short
Can be a trailer, a preview, a unique idea which couldn’t fill a whole video, anything that’s just short. And damn good edited.

best episodic
Sounds easy, but it’s not, we got our high expectations in this category, because there are only 43 Minutes to cut and we wanted the original source twisted in the song. So there will not awards given away to simple videos like favourite song meets episode.

…and we’re creative, if we all three think and agree a video deserves an award, it will get one!
