Ryan added an order and a firework of special effects to the process of going evil with mind-blowing and breathtaking consequences to a great universal theme. The monster inside and how it claws it way up to the surface, how it effects you, starts changing you and finally take you over. Your attitude, your point of view, your priorities, in order to get what you want, more power, more vengeance or just a body of your own, in case of Jasmin and Illyria. So demon possessions is really a sickness you should take serious in the Jossverse, along with the magic addiction.
‘Down with the sickness’ is just a masterpiece of it’s own, you are in for a hell-ride and you can’t help but love it, even when you despite the plotlines back then. Ryan really worked out the similarities between the storylines of Willow, Cordelia and Fred/Illyria to an extend that makes you just envious of the result, but not the endless hours of hard work he put into it.
The colouring and enhancement of every single frame is just awesome and overwhelming. The editing is just plain genius, fast, packed, emotional and full of details that you missed the first ten times you see the video, because you are visually stunned into an awestruck viewer, that tries to process, what is possible with the source material the shows provided us with. And the video gets only better with every view, believe us, we tried it and after three dozens rounds we are still not tired of it and in wonder.
